Essaouira the fishing-port

Only two hours drive from marrakech the scenery around you soften and the landscape changes from arid grey to vivid green. Visit the town's impressive "Kasbah"fortification, a mixture of Portuguese and Berber architecture. Explore the historical sites and the Souks with its carpentry workshops devoted to cedar and thuya wood carving.
